No. We sell trade-style: agree price by message or call, then pay by invoice. Listed prices are guides where shown.
Heat status is on every card and in specifications. Unheated means no conventional heat treatment. Heat treated means the stone went through standard furnace heating unless the description says otherwise.
No. Certification status is listed per stone. Some pieces are available on request or come with existing paperwork noted on the listing. Ask before purchase if you need a specific lab report.
Yes. After payment is confirmed you choose from four island shipping options, or collect free by appointment. After confirmed payment we aim to release the stone to your chosen carrier within 2 business days. Release means handover to the courier or post office only, not delivery to your address. Four island options: standard courier (not insured, LKR 400–500), registered insured post (LKR 800–1,200), secured express via Pronto or SITREK (LKR 2,500–3,500), or free collection by appointment.
Sri Lanka delivery guide →All Sri Lanka sales use the same 2 business days handling window on our side. You then choose how the stone travels: Standard courier (not insured, LKR 400–500) via Domex, Fardar, or Koombiyo, typically 2–3 business days after release. Registered insured parcel via Sri Lanka Post, fully declared, typically LKR 800–1,200 depending on value; 3–5 business days. Secured premium express via Pronto Lanka or SITREK, vault-box transport, fully insured, LKR 2,500–3,500; 24–48 hours after release. Free in-person collection, by appointment, agreed in WhatsApp before payment.
Read the local guide →For Sri Lanka buyers, see our local delivery guide. For international buyers, export from Sri Lanka is arranged through licensed NGJA channels. We can handle the full export process for the stone, or arrangements are agreed in your purchase conversation. Local courier (Sri Lanka only): After confirmed payment we aim to release the stone to your chosen carrier within 2 business days. Release means handover to the courier or post office only, not delivery to your address. Four island options: standard courier (not insured, LKR 400–500), registered insured post (LKR 800–1,200), secured express via Pronto or SITREK (LKR 2,500–3,500), or free collection by appointment. International export: there is no fixed door-to-door delivery timeline. Import duties, customs fees, and destination taxes are the buyer's sole responsibility and are not included in the stone price.
International buyers guide →Landed cost is the total you pay to receive the stone at your door: agreed stone price, plus Sri Lanka export documentation and fees, insured freight, and your country's import duty, VAT or GST, and courier brokerage. We itemize an estimate in WhatsApp before you pay. The listing price or winning auction bid is only the stone, never the full doorstep total.
Read the full guide →A USD 100 stone often lands around USD 220–350 to the UK, EU, US, or Australia via economical tracked export, but can reach USD 400–500+ with premium secured courier, maximum insurance, or heavy destination brokerage. UAE buyers should also budget ~5% import duty plus 5% VAT on top of freight. Fixed export and clearance fees hurt small purchases most. A USD 2,000+ stone spreads the same overhead across a larger base, better value on landed cost as a percentage.
See the tier table →We regularly ship to the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates, among others. Each corridor has different duty, VAT/GST, and brokerage rules. UK and EU: loose cut gems are typically duty-free but import VAT applies (often around 20%). US: often no duty on loose cut gems but brokerage and state taxes may apply. Australia: 10% GST on import. UAE: about 5% duty plus 5% VAT on gems; high values may need a customs broker.
Corridor notes in the guide →Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the stone (or auction) and your destination country. We will quote stone price plus export, freight, insurance, and your estimated destination charges before you pay. For auctions, your bid is the stone price only. Budget separately for export and import if you win.
International buyers guide →Natural gemstones are one-off items, not catalogue SKUs. For shop purchases and auction wins alike, we handle returns case by case rather than on a fixed window. Returns are handled case by case. We review genuine misrepresentation individually; preference on colour or face-up look alone is not grounds on its own. Use listing video and stills as your inspection before payment. Viewing by video call can be arranged where practical. Read our returns guide for what preference alone does not cover, and when we review a case individually.
Returns policy guide →Buyers judge colour and inclusions in motion. Turntable video and stills under daylight-balanced light show face-up appearance more honestly than a single retouched photo.
Each auction lists a single stone with a ladder of fixed price tiers, from an opening bid up to a ceiling (highest) price. You pick the tier you want to bid at, enter your name, phone number, and email, then submit. The countdown shows how much time remains. When the clock runs out, the highest tier that received a bid wins. All bids at every tier are recorded and kept on file. The highest tier wins, but lower-tier bids act as backup. If the leading bidder cannot complete the purchase, the seller works down through the next highest bids. Bidding at any tier, even if someone is already above you, keeps you in the running. The same auction runs simultaneously in our private WhatsApp group. Bids from both the website and the group are considered together. The seller reviews all bids across both channels and contacts the winner directly.
Yes. Multiple bidders can place bids at the same time. All bids are recorded. The highest tier wins; if two bids arrive at the same tier, the earliest one takes priority. Bidding at a lower tier while others have bid higher still keeps your bid on record. If the leading bidder is unreachable or does not follow through, the seller may offer the stone to the next highest bidder. This is why bidding even if someone else is ahead can still be worthwhile.
Yes. You can place another bid at a higher tier at any time before the auction closes. Your new, higher bid upgrades your position on the list. Your earlier bid at the lower tier is superseded. You cannot lower your bid once placed. If you want a stronger position, simply submit a new bid at a higher tier.
Absolutely. The highest tier no longer closes the auction instantly. It simply means one bidder has the top position. The auction remains open and everyone else can still bid at any tier. Lower-tier bids are recorded as backup. If the top bidder does not complete the purchase, the seller works through the list from highest to lowest. Being on the list, even at a lower tier, gives you a real chance of securing the stone.
Submitting a bid is an expression of serious intent to purchase, not a legally binding contract, but a commitment we take seriously. The seller reviews all bids and contacts the winner directly. A bid does not guarantee the stone if a higher bid exists. By submitting a bid you confirm you are willing and able to complete the purchase at that price if selected. Bids made without genuine intent to pay are unfair to other bidders and may result in being excluded from future auctions.
We run a private WhatsApp group where the same auction is announced in real time. Members can place bids by message during the auction window. The group and the website run in parallel. The seller considers bids from both channels together. A stone may be sold through the WhatsApp group before the website countdown ends. If that happens, the website bid does not create any entitlement to the stone.
Join WhatsApp group →The seller will contact you directly on the WhatsApp number you provided. You agree payment terms in that conversation. Sri Lanka buyers: After confirmed payment we aim to release the stone to your chosen carrier within 2 business days. Release means handover to the courier or post office only, not delivery to your address. Four island options: standard courier (not insured, LKR 400–500), registered insured post (LKR 800–1,200), secured express via Pronto or SITREK (LKR 2,500–3,500), or free collection by appointment. See the local delivery guide. International buyers: export from Sri Lanka is arranged privately at the buyer's and seller's discretion. We can manage the full licensed export process for the stone (packing, documentation, and handover through approved export channels) or work with export arrangements you prefer. Import duties, customs, and destination taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the stone price. Read the international buyers guide for landed-cost estimates by corridor. Returns are handled case by case. We review genuine misrepresentation individually; preference on colour or face-up look alone is not grounds on its own.
International buyers guide →Auction wins follow the same honest-description standard as shop sales. Once you are confirmed as the winner and the stone has been sent, questions are reviewed case by case, not as open returns for colour preference, change of mind, or normal natural variation. Watch the listing video and read the description before you bid. If the stone proves synthetic, materially misdescribed (for example heat treated when listed unheated), or drastically different from what we showed, contact us promptly with detail. We review those cases individually and in good faith.
Returns policy guide →Yes. The group is where we announce new auctions, share preview video before listings go live, and take bids during the auction window. Join if you want early access and want to bid directly by message.
