Not every piece goes to the wheel. Geudas (dense, included rough) are sorted from cleaner natural crystal that can be cut as-is. Heat treatment is decided stone by stone: standard for many Ceylon blues, never assumed for material where unheated colour is the point. Significant rough may be held for timed auction on this site or sold through partnership channels before it enters the wider export market.

Collector material and commercial lots go to hand cutters we work with regularly in Ratnapura and Beruwala: native proportions, portrait cuts, and standard ovals and cushions. Separately, we sort and buy pre-faceted stones from Beruwala partners we have traded with for years, choosing only what meets our colour and disclosure standards. The cut on every listing matches what you see in video and stills.

Higher-value and origin-sensitive stones go to credentialled partner labs in Beruwala or Colombo, teams trained at SSEF, GIA alumni, and other recognised programmes, to confirm colour call, material, and origin where it matters. On lower-value commercial goods, we rely on decades of source knowledge and state treatment and species plainly on the card: corundum, heated or not, as the crystal shows. We would rather under-certify and over-disclose than sell a story.

Selected stones travel to our European hub in Prague, where we cater to collectors, jewellers, and dealers across the EU. The office acts as a return centre and dealing base, stones can be viewed by appointment, and export paperwork for international clients is handled through our established European trade contacts alongside Sri Lankan export partners.

We are digitising a trade that used to run on handshakes and WhatsApp alone. Timed live auctions on this site let you bid by fixed price tiers before a stone spreads wider.
